The First Annual Great Ferret Derby |

We were joking around at a Genesis Board meeting in November that we could race ferret's and take bets as a way to raise money for Genesis. We ended up with the First Annual Great Ferret Derby on Dec 23 2007. Here's a logo I drew for the event. Raffle winners got a free t-shirt. We raised over $500.00 for Genesis that night. Eight ferrets competed on two tracks. Several Ferret's finished backwards. It was a great night indeed. We hope to publish the next one more and get more people to come out. Thanks to 4 Seasons Resort on Beech Mtn for generously hosting the event.
