SkiBeech App for iPhone

Release date: Dec/11/2009

Cocoa, Objective C, and the iPhone SDK. The wonderful world of programming for Mac (cheerful goosesteps). This is my first iPhone/iTouch application. As i write this entry, it sits in the queue for release in the iTunesConnect website. I took a tab-based control framework and carved out my first app for a client of mine, Beech Mountain Resort. This app stays in contact with the resort website through the back-end software (i also manage). Currently, there is no Flash Player for the iPhone so i had to animate the interactive trail map with PNG's until i get my head around Quartz. Assuming it doesn't leak all over the floor, you can find this free App in the iTunes AppStore by searching for SkiBeech after Christmas.

If you want to report a bug with the SkiBeech App you can email me directly at my mobile developer address.

This App was officially released on the App Store on Friday, December 18th, 2009.

Version 2.0 is now available. New version has full support for html5 with an updated animated trail map that addresses some crashes with version 3.1.2. Version 2.0 was released on the App Store on Sunday, Oct 17th, 2010.
